Vancouver, BC, August 28, 2008--(T-Net)--Cetacea Networks announces the granting of Australian patent acceptance by IP Australia for Cetacea's unique, energy-efficient OrcaFlow® traffic anomaly detection technology.
"Our issued Canadian patent coupled with successfully moving through the patent process in Australia offer strong validation of our intellectual property and further confirms the unique value we offer for monitoring a customer’s network infrastructure", says Gary MacIsaac, President and CTO. The patent will issue to Cetacea Networks typically 3 months after acceptance, according to IP Australia. Following on the success in Canada and Australia, Cetacea Networks continues to move forward with pending patents in the United States, Europe and Asia.
