Changhua county：Wang Gong harbor
Yunlin county：Tai-Si harbor、Bo-Zih-Liao harbor、Tai-Zih-Cun harbor

Changhua county is at west side of Taiwan and faces to Taiwan Strait directly. The coastline starts from Da-Du river in northeast part of the Changhua county, to the southeast Zuo-Shuei river, the total length of coastline is 52 km. The landform of coastline is flat and muddy and may not be using in building harbors.

Wang Gong fishery harbor is a type 3 fishery harbor, next to the estuary of Hou-Gang river. During the Ching-dynasty, Wang Gong harbor plays an important role of being a gateway of central Taiwan. And it is the only fishery harbor in Changhua county. However the defects of easily silted and great variation of tide range made the coastal fisheries and offshore fisheries were on the wane, and the aquacultures replaced them. Right now, there are plenty numbers of rafts for aquaculture using are anchored inside of Wang Gong harbor. Wang Gong lighthouse, an octangle form international lighthouse, and the Wang Gong bridge are the eye-catching landmark of Wang Gong harbor.

Yunlin county, located at west side of Taiwan and faces Taiwan Strait directly. The coastline starts from the Syu-Cuo-Liao in northeast part of Yunlin county and ends at the Hu-Kou. The total length of coastline is 43 km. Due to the shoal landform of coastline and the influence of Mai-Liao industrial area, Bo-Zih-Liao harbor is the only large-scale fishery harbor in Yunlin county, others are small-scale type.

Tai-Si fishery harbor is a type 3 fishery harbor, had persecuted by deposit of sand over the years. It is an oyster farming harbor today, oyster shells piled up on wharfs. Only Oyster farmers have the ability operating rafts by using tide change to come in and go out the harbor. Out of the harbor, the oyster farms spread out far beyond the horizon.

Bo-Zih-Liao fishery harbor is a type 3 fishery harbor with all the functions needed, but still have to face the deposit problem. Mullets, moonfishes, cutlassfishes and benthic habit fishes are primary objects for catching. There are also many milk fishes, eels, and shrimps culture farms close to harbor.

Tai-Zih-Cun harbor is a tradition fishery village in the Hu-Kou township, it is also a type 3 fishery harbor. People live by oyster farming. Harbor has enlarged over the years for letting fishermen anchor their rafts.
