Above the Blue
The stunning beauty of wild open sea is always attractive to the brave people. They come to stroll along the beach to accompany to the sea, which is like a capricious lady, and enjoy the furious waves and strong wind from Her. You can get any way you want to join in this blue party: surfing on the sea, drifting with a tiny canoe or sailing to the end of the world. All these activities not only bring you joy and beautiful scenery but also show you the strength of Nature.

Surfing
The pleasure of controlling the wild waves by surfboard is the main reason that the surfers can’t stop this dangerous sport. Now, Surfing has been developed into several different styles. Therefore, all you need is the heart to learn it. For bodyboard surfing, it only takes couple hours of training, and then you`ll be one of the surfer who ups and downs on the sea.

Equipment :
Surfboard（Long board, Short board, Gunboard ）, Leashes, Surf wax, Wetsuits, Rash guard, Fins / Skegs, Traction pads, Bootees, Nose.

Where to Surf :
The northern area : Shalun, Baisha Bay, Jhongjiiao Bay, Fulong, Miyue Bay, Wushih port
The western area : Ciding, Tongsiiao, Longfonggang
The southern area : Sizihwan, south bay, Jiialeshuei,
The eastern area : Shihyusan, Shanyuan, Jici, Basiiandong
Off-shore island : Penghu islands, Jinmen Bay

Warning :
1. Informed in sea facies and be aware of self-condition.
2. Go with companions.
3. Warm up and check equipment before you start to surf.
4. Keep distance with other surfers and comply with surfing culture.

Kayak
The ancient kayaks were made from stitched animal skins over a wooden frame made from collected driftwood. It was the transportation of indigenous people in Arctic regions. Although the kayak is a new sport in Taiwan, it has been broadly carried out through several national and world-wide contests recently.

In these days, Kayaks have evolved into numerous specialized types, which are decided by their applications, such as sea kayaks, whitewater (or river) kayaks etc. In Taiwan, it’s very easy for beginners to start at the tranquil water, such as a lake.

Sailboard
In general, there are two kinds of sailboard sports in Taiwan. One is known as the sailboat which the operator being seated controls the boat. Another one is windsurfing. Windsurfing is a water sport by standing or sitting on a sailboard to move from place to place around the ocean. In Taiwan, there are many sailboat clubs tried to follow out this fascinating sport.

Whale watching
Whale watching is an applicable activity for people of all ages. In the east of Taiwan, you can see many kinds of whales and dolphins. For examples : Spinner dolphin, Bottlenose dolphin, Fraser's dolphin, Risso's dolphin, Killer whale, Pantropical spotted dolphin, Short-finned pilot whale, Humpback whale, Sperm whale, False killer whale.We can just visit whales and dolphins with the arrangement of whale watching company.

Warning :
1. The sufficient sleep before launch
2. Use the suntan lotion and take seasickness medicine at least 30 minutes before launch
3. Wear a hat and the sunglasses to prevent the sunshine.
4. Always wear in life vest
5. Bring your identification document in case of checking
6. Don’t feed animals or do anything that will damage the natural area.
7. Choose whale watching company carefully.

Where to go:
East : Ushih port and Nanfangao in Yilan county. Shihti port or Hualien harbor in Hualien county. Chenggong port and Fugang port in Taitung county.
