According to Dance, in Taiwan, few Taiwan local dance theatres perform pieces which are inspired by the ocean.

“Liaomoshi Dance Theatre “ combines dance and poetry to create Vision, Ocean. Through the imitation of the ocean’s appearance, those extremity performances show the infinite imaginations about it. “Cloud Gate dance Theatre” uses Across the sea as the overture in their famous repertory. Silence of Flying Fish of “Neo-Classic Dance Company” is the mixture of indigenous dance and modern dance. “Century Contemporary Dance Company” has Oceanic Carnival which the dancers really dance in the water.

Painters see the world with their individual ways and always leave unforgettable clues for their posterity to trace, so that they can see the beauty again.

• Liou Fu Hong 劉復宏 （1944--）： Liou has held many exhibitions about Taiwan thalassic scenery.
• Lyu Pu Shih 呂璞石： Lyu is a scientistic painter. He leaves only 29 pieces all his life.
• Yu Cang 魚藏 ：Yu is a marine eco-iconographer. He wishes that people could learn to recognize underwater creatures by his works.
